Colleen & Keegan

Colleen and Keegan had a trip to Florida planned to stay with her aunt and uncle who live there. They drove all the way from Michigan and stayed in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for one night on the way down. Colleen had no idea he was going to propose – they took the Skylift to see the beautiful mountain views and Keegan picked the perfect spot. Keegan then asked a random couple to take their picture, and after a few photos, he got down on one knee and proposed! The other couple had no idea and were so excited for them! It was everything Colleen had dreamed of and then they got to enjoy a week in Florida to celebrate.

Their wedding style was modern/natural with greenery and simple decor. A few unique details from their day included getting married at the same Catholic church where both of their parents got married. They also took wedding photos at Colleen’s Aunt and Uncle’s apple orchard in Sparta and they had their Golden Retriever, Crimson, meet them for photos.

Colleen and Keegan’s advice is to book the big things first and everything else will fall into place. Remember that it is only one day and you have the rest of your lives to spend together, so don’t sweat the small stuff. Colleen also recommends joining the “Bride 2 Bride West Michigan” and “West Michigan Bride” Facebook groups as they are very helpful with recommendations and connections.
