Hannah & Connor
Hannah and Connor attended the same high school, but their paths never crossed until she caught his eye at senior year prom. Connor asked Hannah to dance and the rest is history! After that night the two felt like they had know each other their whole lives. Over the next few years their love grew and over time they both realized they couldn’t picture their lives without the other. They are both looking forward to coming home to the person who feels like home every day.
The Proposal
Hannah and Connor were spending the day in one of their favorite places, Traverse City. They spent the day wandering around the city and ended the day at Old Mission Peninsula. While they were walking on the beach at sunset, Connor popped the question! Their families were hiding in the woods behind the beach to celebrate with them, which was such a sweet surprise.
The Day & Design
The couple would describe their wedding style as a little boho and a little vintage. The decorations included fall colors and gold accents. A unique detail about their wedding was that a lot of the decor was thrifted. Hannah and her mom collected about 100 vintage brass candlesticks from thrift and antique stores for the centerpieces.
The Couple’s Advice
Their advice is to do what makes you happy. This is YOUR day! Also, you can’t go wrong with an open bar.
