Jordan & Seth
Jordan and Seth first met in high school. They did not talk much throughout high school, but did start to hangout more after graduating. Once Seth transferred to GVSU the two began dating. Jordan knew after a short time that Seth was the one she would marry. Jordan and Seth are most looking forward to no more goodbyes. They dated long distance while in college, so they are excited to wake up every morning and go to bed every night together.
The Proposal
Seth planned a day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes for the two of them. When Seth showed up, he was so calm, cool, and collected, so Jordan told herself it definitely wouldn’t be happening that day. On their hike of Empire Bluff Trail, they had stepped off to the side, since it was pretty busy. Once people had started to clear away, Seth got down on one knee and proposed at the lookout. It was a perfect proposal!
The Day & Design
Jordan and Seth would describe their wedding style as simple, but classy. They included lots of elegant greenery. A unique part of their wedding day was their party favors and table settings. Jordan used backsplash tiles and a cricut to put every guest’s name on them. She then attached magnets to the back. Seth created a board from corrugated steel to hang the magnets. They also chose to have donuts instead of cake and it was a crowd-pleaser.
The Couple’s Advice
There are months worth of stress leading up to the big day (and a trying time for couples), but when it comes to the day of, JUST ENJOY IT. Soak in every minute, it’s a blink long and you only get that moment. Make the most of it. After the ceremony, NO MORE DECISIONS – just enjoy the reception.
