Joslyn and Carter

Although Joslyn and Carter first met in high school, they didn’t start dating until a fateful phone call was made. Carter accidentally called Joslyn while he was in college, and they began dating in 2014! They fell in love within a month.

THE PROPOSAL

3.5 years into the relationship, Carter decided it was time to pop the big question. He enlisted the help of Joslyn’s family to get the proposal just right. Joslyn’s father promised a surprise for her mother and invited the family to their lake house. Once there, they were taking family photos when Carter appeared and proposed! The whole family was ecstatic.

THE WEDDING

Cool linens and an abundance of flowers filled the tent on the warm August evening. On top of that, with Palazzolos Gelato for dessert, the reception was elegant yet refreshing. At the center of it all was the couple’s unity symbol: the cord of three strands.
