Katie & Josh

Katie and Josh first met in the summer of 2016, when a mutual friend tried to set them up. They like to think the universe wasn’t ready for them to be together yet. Fast forward two years later, and they match on a dating app. Katie and Josh took things slow, but soon realized they were made for each other. They are looking forward to spending their lives together and building strong a marriage.

The Proposal

Josh had asked Katie if she wanted a date night at a place they frequented often, Make Studio. On the date, Josh finished his wood sign quickly and began walking around looking for other signs to make. Josh then came back with a sign that said “Will You Marry Me?”. Josh got down on one knee and Katie said “Yes!”. Josh then planned a lovely surprise of their families waiting to celebrate at their favorite ice cream shop.

The Day & Design

Josh and Katie would describe their wedding style as classic and elegant. A few unique details from their special day include a dinosaur costume, a boxwood backdrop, and guestbook bench for people to sign.

The Couple’s Advice

Take the time to plan, even the small details. You never know what you may forget. Also, let all the emotions soak in. Take a moment to step aside with your new spouse, and reflect on the moment.
