Mallory & Kyler
Mallory and Kyler met in college on a spring break service trip. Mallory fell in love and knew Kyler was “the one” within the first few weeks of dating. While they were sitting at a bonfire at his family’s cabin after everyone had gone to bed, Mallory said to him, “I think I am going to marry you.” And Kyler replied, “I think I’m going to marry you too.” They are looking forward to enjoying the mundane together and building a lifetime of memories together.
The Proposal
On Valentine’s Day, Kyler asked if Mallory would like to go for a walk at a park near her parent’s house. It was 12 degrees outside and incredibly snowy, but Mallory agreed. After they crossed the bridge over the Grand River, Kyler got down on one knee and popped the question!
The Day & Design
Mallory and Kyler would describe their wedding day as classic, winter elegance with a touch of classy Christmas. They had a live band at their reception and it was a blast for their guests and for the couple. Since their wedding was a week before Christmas, it felt like one big holiday party with all of their favorite people!
The Couple’s Advice
Their advice is to not sweat the small stuff and get wrapped up in the details. At the end of the day, the most important part of this day is that it’s about you and your spouse celebrating your love and the start of your forever around the people that mean the most to you.
