Teresa and Demitrius

Teresa woke up from a nap during a car ride to find Demitrius’ car in her parent’s driveway. The couple was doing long distance, so she was pleasantly surprised to find Demitrius in her parent’s kitchen. With champagne in one hand, and a bouquet of flowers in the other, he invited her on a walk. They began around a local nature preserve before settling upon a gazebo. Demitrius quickly set the scene with a box he “found.” Surrounded by candles and music, the couple sat in the gazebo as they drank champagne and talked. Songs played and passed until the song they had previously selected as their first dance song came on. Demitrius then got down one knee and proposed.

Rather than dealing with small details, Teri wanted a simple wedding day to keep the focus on the people around them. For her, the whole day was about her favorite people coming together. To promote this idea, she and her bridesmaids stayed at a farm for 2 nights before the wedding in order to bond. Then, on the day of the wedding, the bridal party took a rented bus to a bar for an hour of drinks and celebration!
